Ginkgo Leaf Inspiration

I found these pictures from fall in my phone.  I meant to post them a long time ago, but life gets away from me (and everyone else) sometimes.  While playing at the park, I found this gorgeous ginkgo leaf.  I happened to set it on the counter next to some Cheerios my son had left there and I decided to play around with the leaf and "dots."

This was an interesting way for me to play with abstract composition which is not something I am good at.  It would be fun to make these up as blocks in a quilt or just to focus on one.  However, that would mean that I would have to pick a favorite.  I'm not sure which one I like the best!
