Tentmakers of Cairo Inspiration

A few years ago, I heard about the Tentmakers of Cairo.  Here is an excellent video about them by Bonnie McCaffery.  There work has inspired me for a while, but with the American Quilter's Society offering it at 50% off through April 30th (Code: ART50), I knew it was time to buy a piece.

It came in the mail last week and was even more gorgeous than it looked on the internet.  Here are a few close-ups.

I was so happy to have a nice label on it so I know who made it!
