I started with some beautiful Island Batik background fabric, a 10 inch square stack of the Lemon Grass collection, and the Morning Star Accuquilt die. AND OH DID I HAVE FUN!
I designed a quilt using the block. Here is the center block of it.
And here are my leftover pieces made up into a table runner. I know, it's done first. I wanted to practice putting together a few blocks before I really got going.
The good news? IT WAS SO EASY. And they went together beautifully. I decided to press all the sames open and it worked like a charm. I'm a pinner, so I pinned a ton, but I am so happy with the results. This is such a beautiful collection form Island Batik!
