It's been a crazy week. I teach third grade for a living and this week was our professional development week for the new school year. I am a tired girl! I just wanted to quilt something small. I was cleaning up my sewing room and came across a piece of vinyl so I decided to try stitching it without layering it to see what happened. Perhaps it could become a bag! Here are the results.
The quilting turned out beautifully. I just had some fun with motifs and then surrounding each motif with an echo.
I hope you get to quilt today!
Suzy
I love this, and I will try free motion quilting some day.
ReplyDeleteHoly crapoid Suzy this is awesome!!! Just love it!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! You're a teacher, how about a book cover?
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful! I have seen quilting on leather, so vinyl makes sense. If you have enough, it would look great for a large bag to carry school papers, etc in.
ReplyDeleteYowza! What amazing results!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilting Suzy love your smooth curves it looks so graceful, have you visited timquilts of late he's doing a lot of quilting with leather. Hope this turns in to some thing and does not become a WIP its to lovely Cheers Glenda
