Clam Flower #12 - Part 2

My son Vincent and I LOVE orange.  I also have a tendency to buy orange and blue batiks whenever I find them.  I think they're gorgeous.  I finished this flower with an orange clam shaped batik and a great stripy batik.



Here's the final flower.  I love that the last set of leaves has a squiggly stem.  it's so much fun!  I had a hard time picking the fabric for the dot at the bottom of the flower, but finally settled on the really dark blue.  I think it ties the flower together nicely.
