I had a lot of fun picking out fancy looking fabrics to make it just perfect.
I vividly remember picking out the dark blue for the roofline so I could cut out the fancy edge. The border fabric started it all because i thought it looked very regal. I also found the hair fabric in my mother's stash.
I added the quilt blocks to make it look like a quilter's tower. And found a cobblestone fabric for the entry path. I also had fun trying to match the stripes for the bottom section of the tower.
Here's a close look at Rapunzel. I so love the hair fabric and the roof. I also cut out some birds from a bird fabric to add to the piece.
I am unsure why I chose to make the prince green, but I like it.
I hope you get to quilt today!
Suzy
