Love and Kisses Blog Hop!

I am thrilled to be a part of Sherry from Powered by Quilting's first blog hop for her signature collection Love and Kisses designed by Kathy Engle from Island Batik! Be sure to check her website for two giveaways!

She sent me these gorgeous fat quarters.  My original plan was to do some blocks with pink blocks on a blue background.  But after playing around I just wasn't getting anything to work the way I wanted it to.


So I started over and came up with this design.  I am really happy with how it turned out.  I love the way that dark pink really pops.
After I finished this far, I decided it really needed a border...


Much better.  It needed that white solid Island Batik fabric around the edge.


Time to quilt!  I had fun with feathers on this one.  I can never quilt too many feathers and the border was just screaming for them.
