My mom just bought the Storm at Sea Block on Board Accuquilt Die. I of course had to play with it and try it out. What better than to make a simple and cute Christmas block that will make a wonderful gift this holiday season?! I of course used my favorite Island Batik fabrics.
Talk about a frosting overload! My boys will absolutely love all this frosting and bet they'll be fun to make. But only a few!

Love the red and green Christmas block! Those cookies look good.
ReplyDeleteOh, that block is so fun, Suzy! I have a Storm at Sea in the works, tucked away for now, but it's not as pretty as this one! Those cookies look like fun (I'm getting a sugar coma just looking at them - haha!)
ReplyDeleteThat block is so pretty. I think those cookies have too much icing for my taste, but they sure do look pretty.
ReplyDeleteAwww, that block in Christmas colors is perfection. The cookies look like a fun family project for sure. The Christmas projects are always memory makers and I bet you will have fun.
ReplyDeleteChristmas Tree cookies! What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteCookies look wonderful! I found one using gingerbread, but same idea. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love your Storm At Sea in those fabrics! I've always wanted to make a Storm At Sea quilt, so because of you I went looking for the Accuquilt die. (Yes, shiny objects send me off in different directions even in the middle of a blog hop!) Those cookies look so cute and yummy...definitely a sugar high, but worth it. Thanks for hopping with us and sharing your sweet Christmas project with us! xo
ReplyDeleteHoly cow...those are cookies. I love frosting, so they are right up my alley! LOL!! I love the Storm at Sea block. Your holiday colors make it so festive.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute block and I'm sure the AccuQuilter cutter made it much simpler. Those cookies are truly decadent but my husband would love all the frosting, too.
ReplyDeleteI love that block done in Christmas colours - fun! And those cookies - oh my, they're almost too pretty to eat (please notice I said 'almost'!).
ReplyDeleteThose cookies are so darn cute. I know a little 3-year-old that would just adore these . . . and he'd be covered in green frosting. How fun! ~smile~ Roseanne
