When I started thinking about what I wanted to make for my project for the Born to be Wild Blog Hop hosted by Carol of Just Let Me Quilt I remembered this 5 inch strip of Island Batik leopard print batik I had. I never had any idea of how to use it because I'm not really into leopard print.
The obvious choice would've been to make a leopard...but I really didn't want to. I wasn't in the mood to make a cat. So what to do? Well...I had this gorgeous sunset fabric which would be perfect for a background, but what wild animal to put on it?
A flamingo! Of course. I love flamingoes! But what about incorporating the leopard print? Well...you can guess what rabbit hole I went down. So here you have them....my WILD leopard print flamingoes!
I hope you enjoy them and they make you giggle like they do for me.
They really cute!
Suzy
